It bemuses me that people are so adamant to tell others how and when they should feel. Like feelings can just be turned on and off. "You need to stop being angry and just get over it." What does moreso is that as soon as peoples negative emotions stop having an effect on others they cease to care. I do not hear people saying to stop being depressed, or to stop being anxious, to just get over that. Because that is something that is far less likely to be out in the open and to be expressed. The only person it effects directly is the person who is fucking feeling it.
It is no ones right to dictate my emotions but my own and I can change them just as much as I can change the fucking sun rising.
